General Concepts - Adobe Forms

SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe (previously known as Interactive Forms based on Adobe software) is integrated into no less than six SAP development and run-time environments, which cover both stacks of SAP NetWeaver as well as mySAP ERP. Depending on your particular use case, you may have the choice between different environments.

In the
Java environment:
- Web Dynpro for Java is the preferred custom development environment.
- Guided Procedures combines process management with forms.
- The BI integration allows you to print dynamic web reports on the fly.

In the
ABAP environment:
- Create backend-driven print forms in transaction SFP.
- Web Dynpro for ABAP is the framework for interactive use of forms.
In addition, mySAP ERP integrates SAP Interactive Forms in the Internet Service Request (ISR) framework, which brings together forms and workflow functions. This section provides information on a variety of general topics around Interactive Forms
